Gas / Electric After-Hours Emergencies
If you have a gas or electric emergency after-hours, please contact the Mitchell County Communications Center at 641-732-5831.
If you have a non-emergency issue after-hours, please call 641-832-3731 and follow the prompts. Non-emergency messages will be responded to the next business day.

If you are still experiencing a problem after following our troubleshooting guide, call our office during regular business hours for help at no charge.
Telecommunications After-Hours Support
Please note any telecommunications issue not caused by OMU equipment will be billed at $75 per hour plus tax for after-hours call outs.
If you have a telecommunications emergency after-hours, please call 641-832-3731 and follow the prompts to leave a message for a technician to contact you.
Bills are sent out 5 days before the end of the month, and are due by the 15th of the month.
A drive-up window and drop box are available for your convenience.
